Hostel Rules

- All students in the campus are expected to refrain from cosmetics and indecent clothing (Short and sleeveless tops, short and tight dresses and obnoxious designing)

- Students are not allowed to bring mobiles, cameras, jewelry to the campus either as a hosteller or a day scholar. A guilty will have to face a disciplinary action or rustication from the campus.
- Parents can talk to their wards on weekday designated to particulars student.
- Parents are requested not to go beyond the restricted area to meet their children. (Mothers are requested to refrain from interacting with other children to address differences. Please ask for help from the management).
- It is mandatory for all resident students to renew hostel admission form every year with new photographs of self and relatives.
- Do not allow your child to carry any valuables to the hostel as the management will not be responsible for loss or misplacement.
- To avoid indiscipline/irregularity parents are requested to fetch their ward only during Deepawali, winter and summer break. However, children appearing for board examination are not allowed to go during winter break. This helps them to remain focused on their study and special extra classes.
- Only those relatives are allowed to meet and take resident student whose photographs and name are given on the form by the parents/guardian’s
- More than one day delay in reporting after the vacation will cost Rs. 30 per day to parents.
- If any hostel rule not justifiable, talk to the management about your concern. We will make necessary amendment if the concerns are worthy of it. Refrain from passing lose comments in general gatherings. It only vitiates the environment.
- Hostel has its own rules and regulations. To maintain discipline, residents are expected to follow them. Any misbehavior or indiscipline will not be tolerated and may conclude in an appropriate action.
- We expect from all in general and hostel-residents in particular to show respect and to be courteous to one another. For us this is an important part of education.
- To maintain the privacy of mentors, a visit to their quarters only when necessary.
- It is compulsory for all hostel students to be in their respective units on time or the warden be informed in writing before the school/college commences.
- A written permission has to be sought from the Head of the respective unit before a child is issued a gate pass.
- Parents are requested to get their wards gate pass ready during the office hours.
- Parents are requested to adhere to the following Entry & Exit policy of vidyawadi.
- Collect and fill the entry form at the gate. After filling the required information, a part of it has to be given to the watchman and another to the warden.
- Written permission from the Head of the respective academic unit.
- Authentication from the central office. (Children are allowed only with those whose photographs are given by their parents at the time of admission)
- Signature of the Head of the administration.
- Signature of the respective warden.
- Gate Pass to be collected by the watchman.
- In hostel rooms we provide- A bed, table, chair, cupboard, mattress, pillow, bedcovers, bed sheets, pillow covers and a quilt.
- Students are expected to keep their belongings in their respective places and in order (management reserve the right of checking the rooms without any prior information).
Office Timings- 09.30 AM to 05.30 PM
We will not allow any hostel students to go home before and beyond the given office hours.
Entry:
You have to bring-Towel-(2), Napkin-(2), Routine Dresses, Socks (4 pairs), Napkins, Comb, Soap, Hair Oil, Toothpaste, Brush, Nail cutter, Lock (2), Sleeper, School Bag, Bucket-Mug, Soap case.
